Reclamation was honored by both the Michigan Comic Con Film Festival and the Golden State Film Festival with the award for Best VFX after screening in the respective festivals in August. 

The Michigan Comic Con Film Festival took place in Detroit, MI from August 17th through 19th. Director Alison Kohlhardt and Asst. Director Zöe Kim attended the convention and spoke on several panels on women in filmmaking along with fellow filmmaker Minji Kang.

Writer/Producer Tom Loveman attended the Golden State Film Festival’s opening night screening on August 10th in Los Angeles of the science fiction shorts program that included Reclamation.
